Celebrating 375th Anniversary of Yarmouth!!!
36th Annual Yarmouth Seaside Festival will be held on October 11,12, and 13 2014.
The Yarmouth Seaside Festival was founded in 1978 by South Yarmouth resident, Jan Butler, in the hope of creating community spirit and pride in the Town of Yarmouth.
Presented annually on Columbus Day weekend, the festival is the result of a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication by a small, volunteer committee. It is through their diligence that the festival has flourished.
The Yarmouth Seaside Festival has grown into a gala event which boasts a craft fair of more than 125 crafters from all over the country, food vendors with a fabulous selection of foods to sample, a giant parade, continual musical entertainment, high-quality children’s events, kayak and canoe race, 5K road race, pie-eating contests, fireworks display, etc. to name just a few.
The festival will continue with its newest additions, for example the Bed Race Competition and the Bonfire on the beach!
